If i can get PS5 exclusives on psnow(for pc) even within a year of release i will probably never buy another console again. PC gaming is just too good at this point. :wow:

I like playing games that i want, regardless of whether or not they are part of a subscription service. just like I’m going to see spiderman later this month

As much as I like netflix, they don’t have spider-man so I’m gonna go pay to see it like i always have. Same with games.

If you only want to limit the games you play to aa subscription, cool. Video games are like the least expensive thing i spend money on per month, and i think I’ve spent 70 dollars on 3 games since console launch.
Look at all forms of entertainment media from books, movies, TV shows, music, all these are converging on a single business model. Multiple gaming companies also have subscription models. The transition to this is inevitable.

If I can't stream Spider-Man day 1 I'll simply wait till I'm able to on a service I have. The theater windows are getting shorter and shorter anyway. I waited this long I can wait 3-5 more months.

Cool so we have different ideologies. I’m not waiting until well into next year to go and enjoy something. Life is short, money doesn’t control me in that way

I'll handle all the speculation so nobody else has too :handshake:

You can't compete with gamepass. You either offer the same experience (with minor differences) or you fall short.

Now 99% of all games are MULTIPLAT so duplicating what gamepass does isn't impossible. 1st party games are better on Xbox this gen so far and Sony seems to be content with giving you more of the same imo. TBC on which is better but 2021 was year of Xbox :win:

Now looking at this tweet, it's very vague, doesn't say what's included with each tier but they letting y'all know they wanna include access to PS1,2,psp games as a possible :krs: feature except that's a HORRIBLE idea. Everything that was exclusive back then been MULTIPLAT.

That would be like Microsoft going "Get the 3rd tier of gamepass so you can play Xbox originals" :gucci:

The truth is that 3rd tier will have 1st party day 1 PS5 games, they'll have all the older games too thanks to Microsoft azure. The service will not be as cheap as gamepass because they can't afford to do that, they not future proof :francis: (where did I hear that before???)

Sony stans will say it's worth it, I'll admit it's better than nothing. Starfield drops 11/11/22...

What 1st party Xbox games lol! Delusional like a motherfukker:russ:

The funniest part is all the gamepass addicts swarming talking about, “no day 1 first party lol’ like you know deep down their lives would be over if sony actually did that. They probably had a heart attack thinking about not being able to scream gamepass anymore:mjlol:

They are shytting their pants:mjlol:. They better hope that the CEO, who is a straight up numbers man, doesn’t see day 1 releases as profitable.
