Yes, other cities could be in play for expansion, but all of them are long shots relative to Seattle and Las Vegas unless expansion goes beyond two teams, either in this round or a future one. Insiders will tell you that
Silver has shown a particular zest for Mexico City, and places like Montreal, Vancouver, Kansas City, Louisville, Nashville, Virginia Beach, San Diego and Pittsburgh have been sniffing around as well. Nonetheless, the expectation is that the next round will likely be limited to two teams, and that Seattle and Las Vegas are heavy favorites to be the two. —
