Talk from Caleb's camp is just posturing to me.
The risk of playing another year at USC isn't worth the possible reward of going to non-crappy NFL franchise in the 2025 draft (he would go to a crappy team anyways in 2025).
The only leverage he has is refusing to play for Arizona or Chicago and force a trade, which could easily backfire on him.
How the hell is this gonna backfire on him??Talk from Caleb's camp is just posturing to me.

Hate to say it, but Fields might be another victim of @Swagnificent eye theory

Did it backfire on Eli Manning?
What about John Elway?
You only get ONE CAREER. Why should he go to Arizona or Chicago and die?
Tell them he’s not playing for them and don’t draft me simple and plain
fukk outta hereIn this scenario one of these individuals aren’t the same, thinking you can do what they did is a bit misguided in thinking
I completely agree. Arizona is the worst organization in the league. Can anyone make an argument for going there over the Commanders? Caleb should demand a trade if the Cardinals draft him.Nah Caleb is an ultra elite prospect. He could go back to school, have a bad season and will be top 3 at worst.
Ja’Marr Chase spent a year on the couch and was a top 5 pick.
To avoid going to a rough organization I think he’s prepared to skip this draft and honestly I think it’s the right move. If that avoids being in Arizona or Chicago it’s worth it.
His father and him are already peeping this shytI completely agree. Arizona is the worst organization in the league. Can anyone make an argument for going there over the Commanders? Caleb should demand a trade if the Cardinals draft him.
Yea running it back with this same staff would be a waste of Caleb's development. If the Bears have an opportunity to draft Williams and don't clear out the entire staff and bring in whoever Caleb wants, throw the entire franchise away
It's a hypothetical you can't even play around with though because the 9ers had a chance to take him and didn't because of the exact flaws that are derailing his career. There was a bunch of smoke about Shanny not being interested because he felt like Justin :Yea running it back with this same staff would be a waste of Caleb's development.
I'll say this and Bears/NFL brehs wont like it.
Jay Cutler would have had a damn near HOF career if the Shanahans never got fired. Probably would have still been really good in Denver. Going to the Bears tanked his value hard.
I say this cause it appears Justin Fields really needed to be drafted by the 49ers. Maybe he could have fixed his issues in a few years while still having success.
Can this Bears organization finally hire an innovative offensive minded HC?
