You won't last long or win in the NFL doing that, either he develops into an NFL QB or you cut bait
That's what I keep telling the rah-rah Bears crowd out here. Like Breh that will work for a season or 2 but if y'all really think this is the answer at QB, you can't expect him to run for 1000+ yards for several seasons straight and actually hold up. There's a reason RBs have such a short shelf life.

I mean we just saw Fields break all QB rushing records last year to the tune of 10 straight L's :dead:

Cyborg Richardson just learned the hard way to avoid contact

Stay strong. I would never give Pat Williams haters this kind of bulletin board material to work with.
:wow:
I can’t admit when I’m wrong and I’m wrong about Justin being a franchise quarterback but he isn’t the only one to blame but he isn’t looking good he’s taking awful sacks and is holding on to the ball for too long

When Caleb Williams pops said his son might go back to USC to avoid going to a bad franchise....I get it.

I don't care how good you are, you will become irrelevant in Chicago pretty quickly. It would ruin his career from the first snap.
Yep if the bears get the number 1 I would go back to school and play another year

I get it but If you guaranteed a top selection at number 1 you take it. He might stay one more year and possibly fall out the top spot. And you should never prolong your situaiton from becoming lucrative on the most violent sport in America. Besides let’s not like Caleb ain’t coming from. Program with some dubiously top picks selections at the qb position. I can’t remember the last successful qb to come out of that a program since Carson Palmer…not to mention this is the weakest the central division has been in a long time. Minny window is closed, Green Bay starting over. Detroit is crying to climb out the gutter

Nah Caleb is an ultra elite prospect. He could go back to school, have a bad season and will be top 3 at worst.

Ja’Marr Chase spent a year on the couch and was a top 5 pick.

To avoid going to a rough organization I think he’s prepared to skip this draft and honestly I think it’s the right move. If that avoids being in Arizona or Chicago it’s worth it.

Talk from Caleb's camp is just posturing to me.

The risk of playing another year at USC isn't worth the possible reward of going to non-crappy NFL franchise in the 2025 draft (he would go to a crappy team anyways in 2025).

The only leverage he has is refusing to play for Arizona or Chicago and force a trade, which could easily backfire on him.
