That's why you can't talk to them. There's no way you can look at every issue that pertains to politics deeply and thoroughly and still come away saying you're going to vote Republican. I'll be the first to say that if we had a true multi-party system like the UK where there were viable left and center left parties that could actually win a majority (congress/parliament) and win elections for the head of state, I'd consider not voting Democrat but, we don't have that sort of system here so it's Democrats because it's damn sure not the Republicans.

They don't actually. The electoral college and the overrepresentation of red states in the US Senate acts as a huge advantage for the repubs.
Trump lost the popular vote 7 million votes and he was still close to winning.
Likewise, the 50 democratic senators represent 187 million Americans while the Republican ones represent 145 million Americans.
That said, What type of mechanism allows the Dems to rig the game that much in their favor?

Our strategic oil reserves has been drained dry. Historically high inflation.
The same cities screaming about dreamers and how they are sanctuary cities quickly reversed course after getting a fraction of those immigrants they've been verbally lusting for.
But yea, we just need to go ahead and give the Democrats our vote no matter what. Don't bother thinking. Don't bother negotating. Just go blue.
