Money won't stop them from going full retard, they should've stayed on some street gangsta shyt...so many ways to take the story

1. Saints Origin Story set in the 1970s, Benjamin King, Julius and (our new created character) as the founders of the Saints. It could've had wackiness with all of weird 70s fashion, pimps and inspiration from blaxploitation films.

2. A modern take on Saints Row 1, same story and gangs just with little changes, like smart phones and modern clothing, but no they didn't do that either.

3. Saints Row 5: pick up after Saints Row 2, retconning everything after it.


Volition is the most idiotic studio of all time, they just don't want to associate it with black people anymore. You can see it in how drastic the shift in gangs are from the first two to the 3-4.

That's the probably why GTA VI isn't going to be revealed any time soon. Rockstar probably got hands on UE5 early to compare and improve upon RAGE, this might've just created a monster at Rockstar, watch them come out with a new engine that one ups Unreal
