Rockstar needs a damn competitor for GTA

Well, I thought 4 was pretty serious, but with comedic characters, similar to RDR. 4 has the best story of the GTAs by far too

But nah people don't hate on 4 for the story and missions, the story is the best thing it has going for it. People didn't like the sandbox part of it, they didn't like the driving, the way the game looks, and the fact that it didn't have helicopters

Too much money and time involved to get a true competitor. There’s no way every dev/pub sees the money being made hand over fist and nobody want a piece of the pie. Just too many resources needed when they can stick to whatever they know and make the profits they know.

Red Dead 2 was probably 3-4 typical AAA games alone R* could honestly stand to scale that shyt back and focus on the dated gameplay and mission structure
