Hearns chin will betray him in that match although the toughest match stylistically for FMJ, Floyd has ways of using a fighters weakness against him he wouldn't even try to box , he'll force hearns to brawl and get his chin cracked
No it wont. You know, for all the talk of how weak Hearns chin is, hes only been stopped by 3 guys. Leonard, Hagler, and, Barkley. 2 of them are bigger guys and the other had to dig deep to come back and that stoppage was premature.

Either way, Floyd isn't anywhere near those guys as far as punching power goes. And even if Hearns chin was that bad, Floyd would still have to get to it without getting caught with something in return. The height and size make that extremely difficult, combined with Hearns boxing skills. That combination would be too much for Floyd.

now I know you dont know what the hell you talkin bout. Floyd is not the puncher SRL was. also, when people say that Hearns had no chin that's like certifiable that they dont know shyt about boxing and just go around repeatin some shyt another nig said. Hearns in his prime was stopped by SRL and Hagler...both punchers. Maybe in his prime still or slightly past he was KOed by Barkley who was also a hard puncher. Those are the only times he's been whacked outta there. He retired against Grant after he twisted his ankle. Floyd is not that type of fighter to even commit to his punches, when he throws he is already moving out of the way of return fire. WTF you get off sayin he would crack Hearns chin? :pachaha:
Barkley a power punch with 27 ko's in 63 fights, not to mention his 19 losses exactly what I mean old fighters being touted and overrated just cause...............How do you But but but a nikka getting dropped and ko'ed numerous times:mindblown:

You dont think the GOAT offensive and Defensive fighter would be able to pull a dec like Barkley did with his punching bag ass.....

anybody can get KOed...and Hearns got it twice...with Hagler and Barkley...thats it...thats not numerous...thats twice. He was TKOed in a 15 round fight....not KOed cold. All guys were punchers. I like how you always bring up a fighters final record as if the career Barkley had after Hearns rematch meant something. (Barkley had a 62% KO percentage of his wins FYI...thats how you calculate KO percentage...not by adding in fights where he lost....obviously thats not a KO in his favor) Barkley was from the damn hood. He won the 168 and 160 titles within 2 months of each other....lol. Aint nobody doin shyt like that today. Then he got rich and fell into the party and drug scene. So....Hearns got KOed by a 3 division champ, and two HOFers.

Furthermore, Floyd is not the GOAT defensive fighter....I ignored you the first time...but cant let u slide this go round. Pernell Whitaker even at WW was a much better defensive fighter than Floyd...and we aint even talkin lightweight where Floyd struggled with JLC...a guy that wouldnt lay a fukkin glove on Sweet Pea. Pernell was unhittable...and didnt need a shoulder roll and didnt fight against a bunch of slow Mexicans or guys like Mosley and Mitchell who were past prime and didnt have the speed they were once known for.

I wanna say something about the Mosley fight and what I said about speed. When that fight was made, people were like....:ohhh: this is a challenge for Floyd. man, Shane had been done, he had just exposed Margacheato thats all. the big bad wolf at 147 who was overrated like shyt. I told people...this will be an easy fight for Floyd, trust me. Why they asked? Well....Shane has NEVER had the pure boxing skills of FMJ..not even close. What made Shane great was his athleticism, great hand and foot speed and great body punching! That Mosley had been a thing of the past by this time. If you have a fighter who's greatest attributes are physical and not technical...well what happens when they slow down? If they wouldve met 8 years prior...it wouldve been a different fight.

Also Floyd loves to let guys do his dirty work for him. He didnt want to fight Casa or Freitas so he let them fight each other...then he still didnt fight the winner. Then when Frietas lost to Chico, he said...I beat Chico....so by default I beat Freitas. He waited around for Johnston to lose then beat the man that beat him. Waited for Tszyu to lose then beat the guy that beat him. Waited for Manny to lose...then said....I beat JMM. nikkas be giving Floyd wins by default....just sayin he didnt have to fight this nikka because I beat the guy that beat him and notice....all those times it happened were AFTER the fact of when Floyd had the opportunity to face them. :rudy:

step away from the keyboard....yeah....we in this bytch now....

seriously...Floyd wouldve been right there with all those guys but he wouldnt be the best in that era. he wouldve taken his lumps like everyone else at the top. those are all HOF fighters. first thing is when it came to power he wouldve stood out as the weakest one. he wouldnt have necessarily been the fastest one...he definitely didnt have the killer instinct and combination punching of a young SRL. Even SRL was a damn ducker. Ducked Pryor with no shame. Floyd wouldve had a hard time keeping Aaron Pryor off his ass. Fighting Canelo at 154 is cool but Floyd wouldve never fought a big strong FAST hard punching killer like Norris. The most dangerous fight I still say Floyd ever made was Zab...but Zab mental has always been miles behind his skills. I still think to this date...all things considered his best win was Corrales. Of course we know the Oscar win was the biggest win.

you judge greatness with opposition and Floyd never beat a HOF fighter in his prime. that is fact.

He was unhittable to everyone but a 17 year old Floyd who from I've heard put that work in on sweet pea

Great post. Although I'd say Corrales and/or Castillo (at least one of them) - will hit the HOF. Not to mention, save for Pacquiao, there hasn't been a HOFer in his prime for Floyd to fight in any division.
