from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Duran was a good fighter just not great, you dont get credit for fighting everyone and taking ass whipping after ass whipping, which is Duran vs Floyd is not a fair comparison, Duran stans will get butthurt about people spouting truth about his career

Will Mayorga get the same love as Duran 20 years from now for beating Forrest then preceedding to get his ass whipped by every other HOF he fought, so why the praise and bloviating of Duran's career, he was a good fighter nothing more, the Cotto of his era
Duran is entitled to his opinion without having his entire career be scrutinised by a pack of flaming Floydie stans butt hurt because he told the truth... you don't have to agree, but like others said already, he wouldn't have went undefeated against the killers in that era... Floyd aint even fight the killers in his own era until after they were over the hill or in an unfamiliar weight division from what they're known for..

Why not who is Duran to criticize someone 3/4 levels above him, when you open your mouth these things happen. When you try to throw dirt and slight someone else for no fukking reason, expect dirt to be thrown back. Truth is Duran was a gate keeping ass nikka that only had one victory of substance only one ATG, when Floyd resume is littered with ATG and HOF's and number 1 fighters. Only person Floyd aint fight was Manny, and Manny pull out a agreed fight and later ducked the fight by any means necessary

What yall want me to do come kissing Durans gate keeping ass because this drugie comes out of his hole hating for no reason

Is De Jesus a measuring stick for a nikka of the caliber of Floyd:comeon:

You have to include him among others because at least for De Jesus he fought and beat World champions. NDou was fighting a bunch of no name South Africans and Europeans for WBU, IBU, WWWE titles.

So was Robert Guerrero

Robert Guerrero is a good fighter....but he aint no 4 division champ. Out of the 4 major bodies...they have about 4 world titles each on average. So at any given time you can have up to 12 dudes claiming to be the best. Today aint nuttin like yesterday.

For sure my dude, the heyday of boxing is long gone, the best years were in the 70s and 80s, just like basketball was way better in the mid 80s-90s. But seriously, if Reggie Miller came out and said Kobe would have been just another player in the 90s, would you respect his opinion? :heh:

Considering Kobe played in the 90's, that wouldn't make any sense. I know an its an example, but still.

A better example would've been Lebron (who many former player say wouldn't have been shyt in the 90's)
