Rise of Skywalker is trash

Lets not act like star wars was not a complete accident of a series held on by a lynch pin known as Empire Strikes Back. Star Wars movies are like x men movies now. You have 3 good/great ones…some meh ones and some downright terrible ones. I still think tlj>Rise and the first 40 minutes of Force Awakens was dope. But hiring two directors that have COMPLETELY different styles of story telling was a bad move. Also, JJ is a good director, as long as he isnt involved in the writing of the films he directs. And the co writer of this film, they could have chosen anyone, but they got the guy that wrote batman v superman

one last thing…these should have been in a 3 year cycle to course correct like Lucas did. People didnt like jar jar? Ok we will have less of him in episode 2, and almost none of him in 3.

Yea RoTJ probably has the best closing act in the saga…but Like I said, directing wise hes fine. Its when hes the creative his shyt suffers and he always (trys to) leave someone else to clean up his messes…Trevorrows script for 9 was 10x more creative than Rise and actually would have tied things with 7&8 together. Thats why he was working with Rian to try to stick the landing. Then JJ threw it all out.

Absolutely not.

Nah you bugging, they fukked up writing his character but he acted circles around the entire cast, especially in Rise, despite them cutting most of his dialogue

Mando is fine, and its in the same vein lucas based star wars in, but there are some very very bad episodes and its slow at points…the standout episodes tho are excellent
