Can’t even describe how much Dragon Ball influenced me. Core memories of my childhood, when I was lonely or going through tough times his stories distracted me from the bad stuff happening. But I also made plenty of friends thanks to it.

Rip Toriyama-sensei and thank you for all the dreams.

To think he had a billion dollar franchise on his hands and for decades it seems he never really cared to come back to it speaks to his artistic integrity..

RIP man, I remember when I finally got cable back in 03 and watching DBZ on a consistent almost every weekday was . Also getting to watch OG DB was great too. Anime wouldn’t be as popular as it is today worldwide without Toriyama for sure.
