"Ride Along 2", 2016 action comedy film with Ice Cube & Kevin Hart

If we were going to get a sequel from a corny buddy cop movie from 2014, I would've preferred a Let's be Cops part 2

LBC looks like a classic next to RA. RA was straight ass juice. I got like 5 chuckles in.

When I read they were making a part 2 I was like

Saw this with wifey. Wasn't bad or anything, nothing special though. The plot was like a generic buddy cop plot, couldve been written by a film school class. What was weird though is that they didn't even let Kevin Hart clown as much as normal and didn't really give Kim Jeong anything funny to do either. Like they shot everything in 1 take instead of letting the funny people be funny. And Olivia Munn was basically a cardboard cutout

Movie was #1 at the box office and is a hit. Good for kevin and cube. I expect a 3rd one.

I think I laughed twice man. I really wanted to like it but it was just the same movie as the first only worse. Like the same exact movie. Just made less sense and wasn't as funny.
