Second of all, a 2070 super with a nice processor is better than PS5 Pro, that card came out in 2019, why are you focusing ona 4070? a 4070 is not equal to a PS5 Pro, a 4070 will outperform the eventual PS6 already.
you do this for decades, its quite embarrassing. Yall always comparing it to some high end video card, when it really it performs about as equal as 2 generations prior
combined with the garbage processor in the PS5 pro, your games will run about as good as a 3060 TI, at best. Which is more like a $300 card. You can find a new 4060 TI for $350 which will probably best the eventual PS6 as well.

It's a terrible purchase no matter how u slice it. Number one it wasn't really needed in the first place. If this was a next generation purchase it would be far more understandable. $700 without a disc drive for an uncustomizable console is a joke especially if u already have a PS5. Everyone I know said they keeping they regular PS5.

its almost no way you will straight up get equivalent power to a 4070. then you have to also compare cpu etc.
These types of convos are meaningless because a console has lots of wizardy and corner cuts to make their shyt look good, on console. You can take solace in the fact if you do go pc you won't have to upgrade for a console gen if you get a higher end card. but even then that would be to play shyt at ultra which few pc dudes are even doing.

IDK why these dudes acting so daft. I think the og ps5 is equivalent to a 2070-80 and the pro is going to be twice as powerful?

Yeah, at $700 the PS5 Pro is expensive for a console, but I spent more than double that on my GPU alone
