My bad, I gave you much more credit than you deserved. You're just an idiot.Don't need E!SPN to tell me this is a gimmick offense, it is.
It's a fringe offense. It is not the norm, therefore it's a gimmick at this point.
Trust me the league isn't turning into this, this shyt is Wildcat 2.0.
yea but why was he still running the ball with a bum knee??
But from the way that RG3 tells, it seems he's the one who made the dumb decision to run out there on that bum knee.

You should tell your coach that he should stop using Kaepernick in that "gimmick offense" also.
Most Qbs break down in their early 30s. We're seeing it with Big Ben and others. Peyton just survived a major neck injury. Even he couldnt' avoid almost being knocked out of the game.
It's a receipe for disaster standing in the pocket as much as it is running outside of it. I just don't get why the media isn't honest about it.
I agree with your first line, but you and I both know the bolded is just not true.
You can get your knee blown out in the pocket, sure, and occasionally a guy comes untouched and knocks the shyt out of you, but the key to those two items are can, could and occasionally. When you leave the pocket and head down field, your much more likely to incur violent hits than you are if you stand in the pocket.
Yeah, we act like the NFL hasn't completely legislated to do everything to protect the QB in the pocket.
C`mon now.
My point goes beyond even the clear advantage to pocket rules: The only rule thats gonna help you is if you always ALWAYS slide before contact.
If you leave the pocket and DON'T slide, your simply allowing more opportunities for bigger hits than if you stayed in the pocket because there are less blockers, more space and less rules when you leave it.
I think we all can agree rnning out the pocket and down field is much more dangerous than staying in the pocket.
Sure injuries can occur in both, but the likelyhood for one is far greater than the other.
I think standing still in the pocket with players flying all around you is even more dangerous.
I think standing still in the pocket with players flying all around you is even more dangerous.
Okay you can think that, but there's a reason why guys like Vick and Ben are always banged up and Eli Manning has never missed a game in his life.
If you run and slide 3-4 yards before any contact ever, sure that would be great but we both know that's not how it works.
And most QB's don't just stand still in the pocket either, no one drops back and refuses to move their feet aisde from Drew Bledsoe.
Lets be serious here.
