Troy teaches you no matter how weak, strong, rich, powerful, cunning, or stupid, a woman will eventually be the downfall of that man. Lol!

Paris- a prince, rich, but weak and would cause war because he eventually got some p*ssy better than he ever had. City burned, brother was killed, dad was murdered all because he was p*ssy whipped.

Achilles- straight killer, strong, but eventually met a spiritual woman that was smarter than most women he met who aided in his come to Jesus moment. So he had to go looking for her knowing he would die in the process!

Menalaus- a prince, brother to a king, rich as fukk could’ve had any other woman but was stuck on one chick. Let his pride get the best of him cause he was old flabby and his chick left him for a young guy. It happens! A man in his position could’ve had 10 other wives in his brothers kingdom but nahhhhh

smh shyt crazy lol

The Truth
I disagree respectfully. Achilles was enraged that Hector killed his cousin. He went out to the city by himself, in front of all of Troy, and demanded for the crown prince to come down to die like the archers couldn’t have shot a thousand arrows at him. He was hot and was trying to kill Hector immediately. And if you watch the fight, Achilles tried that jumping sword move he used on a few people in the movie but Hector swatted it off. So yea, he trying to end it early but he couldn’t. Plus Achilles was not the type to lie. He was raining Ether down on every character he spoke to in the movie. He wouldn’t have said Hector was the best person he ever fought if he didn’t mean it. Also keep in mind, even though it was incorrect based on what happened in the Iliad, Hector fought and defeated Ajax, a 7 ft tall giant a few days before. So they were trying to show Hector was the best of all the Trojans.

I empathize with Hector more because he was a noble man trying to protect his city and his family. He would’ve been a good king. And he was strong enough to go rounds with Achilles who had to break out a lot more moves in the fight compared to others Achilles had fought which suggests Hector really was the best he’d ever met. But that was what separated the two. Hector could keep up with Achilles when it came to conventional sword fighting but once Achilles started breaking out the various athletic moves he had, he couldnt keep up anymore and he didn’t even see Achilles setting him up for that last blow :mjcry:

Swagger on a hundred thousand. Priam knew he was sending his son to die :picard:

Achilles didn’t go full 100 but it was definitely the best person he’s ever fought 1v1... i think thats what he meant.

You right, he was angry at Hector because he killed Achilles cousin (Achilles wasn’t even going to fight, he was like “FOH” because they were fighting over a bytch). It wasn’t until Achilles cousin decided to go out dressed as Achilles and got fukked up by Hector (Hector went 100 because he thought it was Achilles but didn’t know it was a child).

So yeah i think he went harder because he was angry but not as hard as he could’ve.. he was definitely toying with Hector but still, Hector lasted and faired a lot better than anyone else. Achilles was half god or something.

i gotta check this shyt out now :mjlol:

Its good shyt. Like I said watch out for ONE particular scene that goes a little :dame: if that type of stuff bothers you. But overall its REAL faithful to the original epic poem and its got a bunch of brehs and one or two brehettes. Matter of fact the King Of All The Gods Zeus is played by a breh

Black Achilles gives ZERO fukks and fukks up everybody he fights. Dude who played him did a great job.

Yeah. That's literally the entire point of the Illiad/Odyssey.

The Judgement of Paris was Eris' way of trolling the gods because they didn't invite her to a party.
So she threw a golden apple with kalliste (to the fairest) written on it, and three of the goddesses got all catty and argued over it. They decided they'd find some mortal to choose for them, and they all made hella bribes. Aphrodite promised him Helen, the most beautiful thot in Ancient med. and Paris (the simp that he is) went for it.

The moral of the entire Trojan War was that it was due to the gods being stupid and humans also being stupid. And the only reason the Trojans won was because they weren't stupid (tricked them with the Trojan horse). Odysseus also wasn't an idiot, that's why he made it home. A lot of those stories are basically 'yo stupid people ain't shyt, they're simps that do shyt for p*ssy, Zeus included.'

It was an anti-war epic. Moral was war is meaningless and stupid and everyone dies over some trivial nonsense, usually involving simps.

Movie was average overall but Achilles storming the beach is still one of my favorite scenes ever

ya I’m rewatching some of these scenes now and the action scenes are good but the dialogue/actors tho :smh:

*edit*

shyt even brad pitt’s acting wasn’t the best in this now that I’m seeing some of this shyt again...and he’s one of my top actors...to the point that if he’s in a movie it’s almost an automatic watch...but his fight scenes in this movie were incredible tho...idk maybe it’s the writing/script...there were far too many top notch actors in this for it to fall flat in certain areas

Nah Achilles was toying with him the entire time. He wanted the “illusion” of an epic fight so that he could have his “Glory”

He started the fight toying with him till Hector got that hit in and his sword hit him in the chest. After that he stopped playing around until he had wounded Hector. Then he went back to toying with him again once he knew he had him.
