I love anything related to Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquity. Its one of my favorite movies. It’s just different watching it with a grown man’s perspective vs. as a kid.

nah j/k ...I was heavy into greek/roman mythology growing up...used to read them shyts like they was comic books...so I was very excited for the movie initially and was prepared to give it some leeway bcuz of my attachment to the story/characters...but nah it was that bad that I couldn’t enjoy it despite my personal interest

I always thought that sh*t was weird. Growing up I thought people fought all day and night in wars but after reading books on ancient wars and other historical battles, motherfukkers would kill each other all day then be like alright today’s fighting is over. We off the clock now Same time tomorrow morning

Another thing...I finally get what critics mean when they be crying about accents being wrong. Menelaus’ character for some reason had an Irish accent and it took me out of the scene immediately. He supposed to be from Sparta.

Yea man. No if I could ensure I’d be a wealthy noble or a merchant, I’d go back to Ancient Egypt to see what it was like. Greece and Rome too. That timeframe always interested me.
