Calling someone a "white boy"'or a "black guy" can be considered a race based insult. But neither compare to the word ******, which is race based HATE.

As I stated earlier I have a freind who is white and he uses the word cracker. Not necessarily as an insult, but to describe someone as being VERY white.

I sometimes insult freinds as a joke, not as hating them or wishing them harm, but sometimes freinds jokingly insult each other.

Outside of this thread I have never used "cac" I never needed to. I'm just bothered by the notion that "cac" is in anyway comparable to ******.

Being that this is an online message board and we really don't know who we are talking to black/white male/female young/old troll/real person. Things are little more informal. Would/Could you even have this conversation with a black guy in real life?

Maybe the way you use it is harmless, but the way I've heard it used has the same anger + inflection behind it as what we associate the usage of the word ****** with. So maybe our experiences are just different, but in any case, there are DEFINITELY black people who try to use the word cracker as a "reverse analog" to ******, which is what I am talking about. How you can say one is not comparable to the other, when one was borne out of response to and as an answer to the other seems a little naive/intentionally obtuse, but it is what it is I guess

Again, there is no history of black people discriminating against whites because they are crackers. Yes there have been some hateful black people to use it over the years. But it is not and has never been a part of black culture to refer to whites as crackers. In real life I have heard the term come from more whites than blacks. Yes there are some ignorant people here on the coli that say some ignorant things inluding but not limited to cracker. But these are nameless faceless people who have fun talking shyt online, it has nothing to do with real life.

I am not black and I have encountered racism on this forum every time my race/people are brought up.
