thats bullshyt...that game with a bad qb and its like a 3-3 stalemate. you cant just substitute things like that.
its not like our games against bills and jets at all. bears got turnovers from hella qbs.

Didn't say all that but the Bears were godawful, we played a great game but they were bad in every facet of the game and we were better, we weren't going to lose that game with the bears playing the way they were.

and you didnt think bears were playing the way they were cuz kaep and the offense put up some quick points on the board ?
you guys gotta be consistent on both side of the argument here. otherwise its comical. same thing what was alex doing before, ie "winning with defense" against saints, is being presented as a negative for kaep...when it isnt.
kaep had two big mistakes today, neither of which were conventional qb mistakes. the first one was barely a mistake (and I think it was strategically not challenged because even if it wasnt a safety wed have to punt it out of the endzone) the second one was a handoff gaffe
the fact is, kaep has been playing at least on the same level as alex. at least admit that. and as it is, he has higher ceiling, as it is we wont have to pay 8.5 milly for next season, as it is we have upside.
and Ill say it now, Id rather kaep make mistake like this today than in other games. its good experience for the kid. I just hope because of this they wont make it even more conservative for him, not handling complex plays
dolphins will be a good test. we wont shut down their offense and their defense is decent. we can go back to alex if kaep gets completely bad
D is not like last year's D. Run D is putrid.

that worries me, naturally. fangio had the if it aint broke dont fix it, very basic simple approach and it worked off the speed of the D and our all-world LBs but teams are catching on. we need to have some blitzing schemes imo. rush bowman and patty more.
with that said, greg roman needs to get his head out of his ass. Im still pretty pissed of at the playcalling. playing for a long FG is fine if you have young gz or last years akers...not a hurting akers who missed some less difficult fgs.
plus obviously the toss to ginn

Can't disagree with any of this. Playcalling was terrible.
More spin jobs, totally leaving out the key parts of the stat line.
And I don't know who the fukk said that 12-21 stat line was a good one, but honestly i`ll take that one over the 2nd one because the first one isn't responsible for giving the other team 10 points.

I think the run D being called Putrid is pretty fukking idiotic. It's not what it was last year, but it's still a top 5 unit.
I was very upset with that playing for the FG shyt too, only thing I could think is they got gun shy with Kaep in the OT on that drive, didn't want him fukking it up.
But if that's the case that's not a good sign. But shyts all speculation
