The acid slug shot is kinda powerful with a 2nd perk, can one shot most things. Best against grounded enemies.

Only downside is you’re trading off getting
the currency as it’s a ranged weapon.

Levels aren’t that hard except for when you get ambushed opening chest with low health, otherwise you can take your time with it

Anyone who’s fukked with Housemarque prior can progression from Matterfall & Nex Machina influence, those are a tonne more intense than Returnal

Went into the third boss with 200% health and a astronaut

Lost the astronaut not understanding how the critical malfunctions work

Had him at 10% health left in phase 3 & died

Do you mean like the warp gate in the 2nd biome? You activate a bridge that brings you to the last area before boss. You still have some fighting and platforming though.

If you haven’t passed the 3rd biome make sure you farm the 1st boss, you lose access once you get to world 4.

you get 5 ether per kill (stacks to 30) which you can use to unlock artifacts near the ship as well as using Reconstructors to save a run if you feel you have a good build. Don’t spend ether on any thing else

the score for the game is dope too...starting to appreciate this a lot more in gaming as it lends a cinematic “feel” to it...in particular that one room in the first biome where the blue light particles start to form images when you touch/approach them and you hear the music in the background

Yeah, after a few areas you approach stairs and there's a teleporter that takes you straight to the boss (also biome 3 once you've cleared the boss)

Started getting level two traits and the difference is noticeable, anything involved with leeching makes a run so much more manageable
