it's actually the opposite, you want the highest revenue per table. if people are gonna occupy a table for the same amount of time, why would you want people coming in spending 120 on a table of four when you can have 400 for a table of four? the people who can afford a full meal here are doing fine, this whole pandemic showed the clear division between the classes. the people with high paying jobs who been at home with no where to travel or dine have tons of disposable income, that's who goes to 100/person restaurants
100/person aint next level dining, it's a bunch of michelin star restaurants where you gonna drop 250-500/head...that's next level pricing (i won't say dining as food at that level tends to be very divisive in people's opinion of if it's worth it)I didn’t say it was.... if the restaurant sets a minimum of $100(especially per person). then the food and ambience needs to be on some next level shyt

Ahh, the monthly coli elitist "stay your broke ass at home, you're embarrassing us" restaurant thread
just went to this spot fiola mare in DC for my bday, split the check between the 4 of us, it was about $240/person. it was worth it tooI'm curious to know what is the most people in here have spent in a restaurant. Not to troll or be disrespectful, I'm genuinely curious.

What makes it so "good", the 100 dollars minimum gatekeeper fee?Not true.. I just want people on here to know that 100.00 in 2021 is going rate at most really good restaurants..
Ole "Ya'll nikkas never had a $200 hamburger ass nikkas" lol
restaurants have been operating at a mean L for over a year, hell yea it's desperation - DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU'RE NOT ABOUT TO DO FULL DINING - it's simple. given their steaks a 50-80 - that's just meat, sides are likely 10-20, dessert 15, drink 12-25...it's not a hard ask for customers to spend 100 - get a steak, side, and drink and share 1 app, you're there. This is a desperation for a restaurant. They losing money.
