The story could've been scrapped before the leak

Capcom falling back into bad habits trying to force Ethan and First person on us like they forced Action in RE4-5-6

if its similar to what Silent Hills would have been but with VR then Im in

IDGAF about no fukking VR.... i want it designed the same way they designed RE2&3 still dont understand why they dont give you that over the shoulder option...

EDIT: And let me add on when you play a game like resident evil you NEED your peripheral vision as you can see we have like 6 zombies in the room swarming you from all sides how you supposed to deal with shyt like that if you can't see??? that doesn't work for me in a game like that.

im an hour in and i haven't even ran into Nemesis (outside of the intro)

Mainly because I'm a scared bytch and I'd rather collect everything before i trigger anything that progresses the story futher and brings his ass out, pause

took me 3:30 hours on my second hardcore run. was aiming for 2:30 but I wasted time in the hospital and didnt take the optimal route. also to keep my saves down to 5 I wasted time trying to get nemesis to drop parts in one section that would have only been ammo

to really cut down on time make sure yall buy an extra hip pouch and buy the boltcutters so you can skip major backtracking

debating on whether to play nightmare this next run or just get the S rank in hardcore first

But RE5-6 are the worst of those

I'd recommend RE4,7 and RE1 Remake if you haven't played it.

RE4-5 you can't strafe while aiming, you're pretty much a sitting duck. Has tension but not actual horror. these are reasons why I never bought them but 4 is better than 5 & 6.

RE6 has too much action with a convoluted story just horrible, for a RE game.

It's all preference but this just the popular thoughts on those games.

I'm looking at copping CV and Revelations 1.

I've played 5 on PS3 in 2018 Because of PS plus it's very meh. I doubt been will enjoy those if RE2/3 Remake is his first games.


I strongly recommend him to play RE7, RE4 and Revelations 1 in that order.

RE5 was kinda dope... just think of it as a side story where the big bad guy finally catches a permanent dirt nap... the story was good too...

RE6 was TRASH...
