I also didn't pick up the ID as Carlos wow I really have to run through this game one more time on a harder than hardcore difficulty
Finished it, Just under 5 hours.
it’s a good game, just a bit underwhelming because of its length and a few other minor bits, 7/10
main thoughts..
1. the Park and the waste building being absent isn’t a big deal since they had the lab under the hospital instead. Clocktower was needed tho, would of been cool and padded the length out a bit more.
2. Rac00n City could of been a lot more interesting to explore
3. The hospital section is great
4. The sewer section is awful
5. Jill is a fukking G
6, Why is it you do a big section with Carlos, play as Jill for 5 Minutes for one boss fight where she gets poisoned, then play another big Carlos section? It almost felt like they had the clocktower section there originally?
7. The Dog Form of Nemesis looked cool, but the boss fight itself was trash, and was definitely not needed twice, the only time you should of fought this form was under the hospital, the Clocktower boss should of been his 2nd form from the original, it would of made sense since he was damaged/burnt from the train crash, this one..
edit: originally gave it 8, after going through my criticisms it didn’t make sense to rate it that high.

Was so hyped for this game..... hopefully RE8 Rumors are false Because that sounds even more underwhelming
Yeah 7 was good but Ethan was an awful protagonist, they need to go back to the drawing board with the enemies too, the Baker family was really well done but the Moulded were trash

RE8s leaked story is Ethan as the protagonist again, first person, Chris redfield also returns. instead of molded the enemies are undead wielding swords and wearing Knight like armor.
