LOL...
Of course she has an issue with it. Now if it went towards AAPI communities, she wouldn't be saying shyt.

I can't hate her for it. She is advocating for her people. That is what we should be doing. I'm confused people in this thread acting like politics isn't transactional. A famous saying in politics: There no permenant friends, only permenant interests.

I admit it took me a while to fully embrace this thinking myself.

That’s fukked up but of course TLR posters will be all about it. Article sums up what it’s goal is too. Stupid mother fukkers

“Shame on the governor for weaponizing state financial aid as a cheap political ploy to divide communities of color,” said Sookyung Oh, director of Hamkae Center, a civil rights organization in Virginia. “If education was important to this governor, as he claimed throughout his campaign, he could have easily allocated funding to ensure every young Virginian who wants to pursue higher education in the Commonwealth has the resources to do so.”

Critics of the measure say it perpetuates a false scarcity problem at a time when Virginia has a budget surplus, and it demands that lawmakers sacrifice one needy group of students for another.

Yeah fukk DACA. To All the nigggas out there that want to get degrees it’s time to eat.

Cats real vocal in here about this being "divisive" but were dead silent when Mexicans and Asians out in California voted against Affirmative Action because white people sold/told them it was reverse racism that black people would be the only ones who benefit.... be consistent.

Yeah, that's an Asian organization. Funny how the article ignored that yet Asian is the first thing mentioned in all of their web presence.

I love people who comment on shyt without reading the full article lol. The dumbest humans.

“I understand and agree that we need to do something for HBCUs. This is not the way to do it. This is messy,” Del. Lamont Bagby (D-Henrico), head of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus, told the House before a vote on the amendment Friday. “We have more than enough resources to help.”
