Black Self-Sufficiency
I’m a African American who’s family had been here since the beginning. State politics don’t exist in a vacuum, especially in todays world. Anything, anywhere regarding African Americans is my business and again I don’t give a fukk what holds weight to you. How about deal with the weight of this heavy neg :umad:
So you are not a Black Virginian. You do understand the concept that "politics is local"?

You want us here to have your fear about funds diverted to our issues, while not recognizing your fears are based on an absolute ignorance about this state. Why should your fear be something we Black American Virginians should heed, when you know nothing about us, our state, and the political history of the state? Why should we care about your out-of-state fears?

This thread is now 23 pages long and half of the discussion has centered on Democrats vs Republicans. In 2022 it's easy to discern which side is liberal and which side is conservative due to how diametrically opposed each side is to the other.

This was not the case in 1963 (and I'm positive you are aware of this) hence the reason for me bringing up the Dixiecrats because SHE threw in a particular quote that stated how there were 67 democrats in the Senate at the time. Which brings me back to my point that the political landscape was different back then at least for the simple fact that the democratic party still had conservative members actually serving in the Senate.

Again, it's called nuance.

You're trying your hardest to disregard the existence of Dixiecrats in 1963 to make our exchange simply center on libs vs conservatives. It's not going to work

No, I know perfectly well what Dixiecrats are. Don't attempt to strawman this.

Your initial response was to a post mentioning Malcolm's statement. I pointed out that Malcolm's statement was not about any particular political party, it was about White Liberals in general irrespective of their party.

So again what relevancy does your discussion about Dixiecrats have in light of that?

Hilarious. Look up the straw man fallacy before you go tossing it around like a football.

You're the the one actually introduced the straw man in this exchange. You realize this, right? She never brought up liberals or conservatives in her post, you did that to shift the argument. She did however introduce a quote about the senatorial makeup of the Senate 1963 in a thread that has had a steady focus on dems and repubs.

I'm not going to let you create the vacuum that you are seeking.

That poster isn't genuine.

Any black person that doesn't support Trump is a fukking idiot. Trump has been inviting black leaders to meet with him and asking "what do you want, what do you need, how do we get it done" Trump will deliver because he's a prideful man. He's gonna try his hardest to do for black people what Obama couldn't do.. nikkaz need to fall in line..

It's because black people are stupid more than anything. It's amazing how the Latino have passed the blacks.

Blacks will take hundreds of years to catch up to white wealth

I was only into black women and Asians.. Now after years of dealing with these nappy headed hoes they are probably #5..

Hard to deal with these nappy headed hoes. I never expect much from them because they're so beat down from getting dogged by another guy it's like theres no hope.

My god the OP is dumb as shyt. This is why black people will never have anything.

You are correct. I got his "God's Judgement on America" speech mixed up with his "Ballot or the Bullet" speech. I am getting older, so it happens. I recognize that your statements are valid for the discussion, and apologize for saying you are strawmaning the issue. I did indeed strawman the issue by bringing in the "White Liberal" statements he made..

It's all good. You seem like a good guy and we all want the same thing.

I was splitting hairs.

Also I'm a 40 year old breh myself so when it comes down to it having arguments with another black man takes a little bit out of my soul.

We're all happy to see an hbcu get funding.
