:lupe:So when we would say that not voting helped Republicans, incidentally making anything meaningful Democrats would want to pass harder to do, we werent bullshytting? Imagine that.
Joe and Kamala both told us they weren't doing anything for us. We're supposed to eat that insult and keep getting fukked? Black wealth is almost gone and they helped right along with the POS Repubs.

Also, it's crazy that everybody is always concerned with the black vote but nobody really shames non-black voters who vote for republicans at a higher rate.

You don’t see the issue that you only care about the democrat party not people voting.
No, mothafukka. I am tired of having to reiterate the point that the same “dont vote” folks are the ones not voting locally. If there is any movement you support, there is probably a local chapter and it doesnt have to be Democratic. Fact is if you dont vote, your not putting a bid in for your position. Dont come at me with that bullshyt. Is there *anything* you care about at all? Do any parties represent them? Good, you have something to vote for. Or dont, but dont pretend it is doing anything but punting your say in who gets to do what.

Why are you talking about Joe and Kamala? The most powerful positions that affect you daily are on the local level AND when it comes to National politics, literally the House is is more important than the Presidency. There is a reason they are up for election every two year vs Senates 6 and White House 4. Find other candidates inside or outside of the main parties and support them.

We're talking party lines in general. They are the biggest spokespeople.

When someone promises me something like they do everyone else, I'll vote for them, no matter the level.

So, let's get back on topic, Democrat neglect of Black people.

What we're not gonna do though is trot out these articles from 2020, not after a bunch of y'all claimed victory over the 'not voting disinformation campaigns' like ADOS/FBA; because unsurprisingly black voters were unfazed or unaware such campaigns even existed in the first place and turned out to vote in 2020. Just like black folks turn out every election cycle, That's right, I mean 2016 of course.
You don't think midterms matter?

If you have demands from the democratic party, you don't "not vote" or you'll get nothing at all (look at how Bernie and his platform were ignored after he didn't win against Hillary).

If you have demands, you show up at the smaller state elections/midterms and vote for the democratic candidate who best represents your demands. Once they get into office, if they aren't serving black people enough, you show up at the next election and rally behind the next democrat who is. This will 1. deliver the message on your demands and show the numbers behind them 2. exercise your right to choose, as you have in a democracy.

There are a lot more elections than the democrat vs republican presidential ones.

How many of you voted in your state's primaries the past few months and voted for the most progressive democrats?

Getting the same vibes as those fukking weirdo clowns who tried to smear ADOS even though it was stated to vote. Tariq is the one who did his best to confuse the messaging.
ADOS' messaging was Dem shill bullshyt, with a side of being pawns for Byron Allen. They talked all that good shyt ti just say "vote Democrat" with no promises in the end. They were doomed to fail. If they didn't, nothing would change, as they put zero pressure on by giving the vote away.

We've been doing this for the last half century. "Lesser of two evils, and pray the Dems grow a conscious and appreciate us" doesn’t work.

You Black?
