Someone should frame this post.I think these places exist because poor people exist. We need to fix poverty.
Cosmic levels of irony at work here.

we cant fight every fight. we got shyt that really demands our total focus/energy, like voting rights etc.
Somewhere between 0 and 28.6%where do accountability and common sense come into play?
where do accountability and common sense come into play? if poor people want to pay for that shyt then let them, no one put a fukkin gun to their head
im kinda hesitant to group this in with payday loans who are preying on people who need money before they get evicted/have utilities shut off, etcSomewhere between 0 and 28.6%

the left never misses a chance to treat adults like helpless children who need government to know what's best for them
Seems your framing this wrong.im kinda hesitant to group this in with payday loans who are preying on people who need money before they get evicted/have utilities shut off, etc
it's not the best use of money, but if you want to rent frivolous shyt for the experience
Without these stores, how will the poor get access to the items they want
Rich people get scammed to. Maybe not for xboxes and other stuff but when they do they kick up an stench and the wheels of justice don't stop until people are behind bars.
There is nothing wrong with saying that there should be a cap for loans like this to protect the most vulnerable in society. Good for you that you have the common sense and the disposable income not to get caught up in that web. Not everyone is that lucky.
i'm on their site, and it's shockingly straightforward. for example it says "34.99 a week for this tv. your total payments will add up to 1800 dollars"Seems your framing this wrong.
Rent a center does not bill itself as a place to pick up frivolous things, but instead a place for people with low credit/income to afford necessaries - - often times as a "discount."

explain to me how telling someone what they will pay you for an item, is a "scam"
and you'd have to be shockingly stupid to pay that without knowing how to surf the internet to compare prices in 2018. either that, or the payment plan actually works for you, and would be roughly the same as putting it on a credit card anywayCompare the shay 6 piece queen bedroom set.
- 1499 same as cash RAC.
- Compared to1,000 on the Ashley furniture site.
Or other same as cash purchases:
- PS4 717 dollars for 6 month same as cash price.
- Nintendo Switch 799 same as cash price.
- Xbox one s: 623 dollars for same as cash price.
Everything about that store is predatory.
