I remember there was this fat cac whose stomach drooped lower than his balls when he sat down...he used to murder EVERYBODY on mortal kombat

A lot of arcade environments were low key drug/gun dealing spots. nikkas getting yoked up by their collar for winning in the game too much. Plus, hitting the arcade game like Tupac in Juice out of frustration :russ:
Yeah, thats cause those spots were doing other things not focused on the arcade business.
You couldn't go to a legit top level arcade out here in LA back then and just dominate cause they had people like me on the payroll to make you waste quarters.

I spent so many quarters on Rival Schools when I was a kid before the dude that kept beating me put me up on game. Cause I was like 13...14 just bleeding money 25 cent at a time. Finally dude was like :whoa:
Then like 5 years later I was that dude.:sadcam: But it was a scummy job. Had to get outta there so I could enjoy gaming again. :blessed:

I legit feel sorry for you nikkas I always had some form of a dave and busters to go too. The worst person in their was probably me and my cousin trying to get over.

Pressing that refund button and checking the coin return slots for left behind quarters. I'd be like :ooh: everytime I came up.

Hitting the workers with the :feedme:machine took my money lie.

Paying for one round of golf but not letting it go in the hole on the 18th so I could play again for free :wow:.

NY arcades were some goon infested locations. You had to have your crew with you and you better not get change for any bill bigger than a 5. You could actually get swung on in real life for beating cats up in Video Games. I almost got in fights over hitting cats with fatalities in Mortal Kombat

I got punked by some white kid at the arcade when I was about 10 years old. I wanted to play dude in MK2, but after I put my quarter in, dude was like you better not hit start :birdman: I just looked at him like :dwillhuh: I left the arcade 10 minutes later, with my quarter still sitting on the mk2 dashboard

Only bad incident I can remember is being 11 and having some grown man tell me he was going to kill me after I beat him with no damage on Tekken 2. Luckly some other people made him fall back and leave.
