I remember dial up internet very well.

In fact I was the one who worked on a solution for early xbox live users to get around the AOL restriction in the very early beta. Shoutout to the original crew that was on that ugly shytty xbox.com forum from WAY back then. I am assuming @PS4 is the only one on here who might know wtf I am talking about.

Word. I had like 20 different progs. shyt that would freeze your computer, sign you out of AOL, send you like a million instant messages at once, do crazy drawings in the chat room. I had one that would auto IM everybody in the room requesting credit card info. That's how I kept on line. People were so gullible.

Cant remember the one i use to have that had a shyt list on it....Every time someone on my shyt list came online, i would punt until they was probably sitting at their computer like :mjcry:
I did it so much that they got my account banned and when i say moms was pissed:russ:

Christ you just brought it back. I haven't thought about AOHELL in over 20 years.

I legit miss those days fam. AOHell - Wikipedia

shout to Pepsi as far as the Progz go.

also was a big part of the Warez/MP3 scene on mIRC and in the Aol Chatrooms like Music 1,2,3 etc....

all them ripping groups like RNS.

used to leave my shyt on all night "serving" and would sometimes wake up in the morning with the TOS (termination of service) notice on the screen :mjcry:

I remember those "phish" list that had names and passwords of peoples account. I used to eat real good.

Real talk, AOL got me into hacking. I remember when people used to attach PWS (password stealers) to programs and i learned how to go in there and change the email to what i wanted and then resend it out on a warez list :pachaha: I legit learned how to program C from AOL too...made my own proggie and everything

:mjcry:Folks haven't lived until they went through local numbers trying to find a good connection to the internet. That noise it made when you trying to go on the web and it hits that SHHHHHHHRARHHHHHHAHSHHHHHHHHHHHH:blessed:. Waiting on a 10 second wrestling clip to load up just to see blurry garbage:gladbron:.The days it took to download a 5 megabyte game from GamesDomain:ohlawd:. Actually having keystroke skills to have conversations in chatrooms:noah:. No memes:krs:, no gifs:krs:, and just pure sentences and paragraphs.

Don't missed that shyt whats so ever:camby:. These 90s babies want to go back and I'm like what for:rudy:?

Those were the OG days. Late 90s to early 2000's

AOL punters and scrollers :lolbron:
MIRC - the xxx passwords channels :jawalrus:

Napster, KaZaA, Morpheus, and Limewire:banderas:

I remember downloading a episode of Beavis and Butthead on Kazaa and woke up the next day with a virus. Screen scrambling and everything. The sad part about it was the fact that it was my last week of putting payments on the piece of crap:mjcry:
