Imagine picking up or house phone (yeah, a phone connected to the house with wires and shyt)

And hearing the sounds of the internet buzzing in your receiver. All the static, beeps and boops.

:lolbron:

good times. in the 90's we went from 14.4 kbps to 28.8 then to 56.6 (got a 2nd phone line with this one) and then we got ISDN which was 128, but that wasn't 24/7, they use to have plans where you pay for a certain number of hours ... like 40 bucks for 20 hours and if you wanted it 24/7 it was like $300. so we had the 56k and like 40 hours of ISDN where we would decide how it would be allocated, who got priority fast download speeds and why you need it. i remember getting a part time job in high school doing some computer shyt and those fukkers had a T1 and that shyt blew my mind.

I remember going from dial-up to DSL. :wow:
I used to have to drag the phone line from my bedroom into the kitchen and the phone line would be sitting over the sink, so my mom would get pissed when I would be on the computer for long periods of time. So when we upgraded to DSL and we were able to use the internet while being able to use the phone it was truly mindblowing.:damn:

I remember creating a long distance phone bill because I used a number that was in NJ, but was still a long distance call. My grandfather and grandmother woke me up at 5am like nikka what is this shyt and you’re paying it. Don’t care how but you’re paying this shyt.
