I have no problem saying that atheism is a belief (I believe there is no god) and that it is a better belief
there are objective gradations of belief and there are poor beliefs
believing that there is no god satisfies the core tenet of healthy believing, having good evidence. And there is good evidence that there is no god as he/she/it has been described.

the truth is nobody BELIEVES in god, believing in anything requires a modicum of good evidence
what they call belief is simply repetition of programming and, as a requisite of their programing, they have never had the room to question what they are parroting and they are required to accept non-evidence as evidence.

I believe in God and my belief is based on evidence. I exist. The universe exists. If anything, it's more common sense than belief.

I think your issue is a lack of understanding. You spew the rhetoric and cliches of a person who doesn't fully grasp the concept. Your generalization of all believers shows me you haven't truly given this much thought.
