you folk are comparing the new age outlaws to the most commercially successful group of all time; a group that pushed the envelope artistically with every album and never fell off?
yall folk are giving your top 5, but ain't giving any reasons to say why outkast aint the goat.
nikka what about Toilet Tisha and Stank Love?I learned to love it. You're right though the first time I heard it I was like
The good outweighs the bad though:
Humble Mumble
Ms. Jackson
So Fresh So Clean
Spaghetti Junction
Red Velvet
Snappin & Trappin
Xplosion
B.O.B.
?
Gangsta shyt
every thing else i could live without but these tracks are for me.
the only group that has anything that resembles a 3-album run like outkast is ATCQ.

no group is as balanced as outkast, there aint one category they lack in... you can't say that for any other group in history. none.
i can think of plenty of groups that top them in most of these categories. and their impact and influence shouldnt even be brought up. theyre extremely weak in those areas.
face it home-skillet. they dont have the credentials of a goat-type group.
their southern influence really isnt that deep either. nor should they be credited with putting southern hip-hop on the map.
Best duo? Definitely
