One of the most intimidating figures in boxing history despite being 5'10. At his peak, he was the greatest heavyweight i've ever seen.

However, I understand why someone would put him outside the top 5. His decline was swift and I believe this affected his legacy.

pigeon coop mook one of the goat athletes to lace them up

but yeah just on some straight pugilism there's a bag of dudes that would serve him

ultimately the issue is there's too many bigger cats with the skill to match & that reach to keep mike frustrated

Mike tyson isn't even top 10 in terms of heavyweights, might not even be top 15 either tbh.
Ali
Foreman
Lennox
Larry Holmes
Joe Louis
Jack Johnson
Holyfield
Joe Fraizer
Shavers
Gerry c00ney
Ken Norton
Jerry Quarry
Ron Lyle
Wlad Klitschko
Dempsey
Sonny Liston

All faced and won against better competition of their time than mike tyson did, everyone he fought who wasn't a scrub he lost to. Except for a flabby Larry Holmes.
Dont forget about Vitali with that granite chin and awkward style. He actually was better than Vlad to me and would give any heavyweight hell at his best.

If Mike had the work ethic to stay off drugs and not slack in his training (and not get locked up), he's hands down GOAT. Could have retired undefeated like Mayweather.

Big Pun is probably not a top 5 rapper when u rank everyone from the 70s to 00s

but he's personally one of my top 5 favorites

same applies to Tyson. Theres probably others that belong ahead of him statistically, but being a 80s/90s Kid Mike was god so to me he's one of my favs

and always will be

Let's be real though, Holyfied, or should I say Evan Fields, was a drug cheat.

Dudes resume is mediocre and he couldn't dominate in the 90s once the heavyweight talent pool increased significantly from what it was in the 80s

Pound for pound Tyson isn't even in the DISCUSSION for top 5 or even top 10 all time. No journalist, no former boxers, no one credible would have him there.

Hes not a top 5 heavy either but he DEFINITELY ain't top 5 p4p.

I think there is a debate for top 5 heavy but you're right about to 5 p4p, no way no how

And that's the issue with his stans they only want to focus on 85-90 and even then they leave out the fights that went the distance
