Yo, yall are right about shyt being on Napster that to this day you still cant find.
I remember back in the peak of Flipmodes popularity. My boy fukked around and found a whole Lord Have Mercy (from Flipmode} cd. That shyt was straight FIRE too!!!!! But he procrastinated on putting it on a disk and then got a virus and it wipe out that cd and a whole bunch of shyt!!! To this day, we can NEVER find that CD.... I mean that shyt had some dope beats....... its was like this cat got to the studio before Buster go there and just spit on the dopest beats
How can a Napster knockoff like Kazaa or Limewire be better than Napster?
It's not like those joints were innovative at all. Only difference is when Napster was out, EVERYBODY who was downloading was using it, which meant more seeds and more files. When Napster fell all these knockoffs popped up and divided the people. Some here, some there.
Still don't know why anybody would fukk with torrents at this point in the game.
But MIRC was cool. I couldn't be arsed to make it work now. But then I was able to get over the somewhat steep learning curve and download Power Rangers. Also a bit of porn as well.
man, fukk Napster, the greatest was Audio Galaxy. There wasn't one song on there I couldn't find the rarest instrumentals, i was making the best mix CD's in 2000/2001 off that bytch.
OiNK was the true GOAT. Not only was everything there, it had every other option beat with ridiculous download speeds and the system actually encouraged long-term stability and growth unlike some of the looser options.
I missed the Napster era, but I took major part in Kazaa. I was on there getting EVERYTHING. Then I had Morpheus for a minute, then Bearshare, then Limewire.
