And no, this isn't me hating on Pusha T, its by Booth standards, any other artist in Pusha's position would be labeled a flop. Push has Kanye and Pharrell production, features from Jay Z, Kendrick, Future, Chris Brown, and Dream. He's at fashion shows rubbing shoulders with A Listers. You got people that say he's up there with the greats. Nothing he's dropped says that he's of that echelon.

Then you have people that really believe Pusha's career>>>> 2Chainz as a solo artist.

Still doesn't equate to better career. Push dropped his first solo in 2013. 2Chainz dropped his in 2012. In the past decade or so, Push only has ONE solo anything with a certification and that's "If You Know You Know". 2Chainz meanwhile has several songs that have certifications even songs that don't have features. He actually has a platinum album to his name.
Is that the metric you’re using for determine a better career ?

If that’s the case then by your standards you should agree that Mc Hammer and Vanilla Ice >>>>>>>>>>>> 90% of rappers that ever touched a mic

I hate when people use the whole MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice comparison because it is laughable if you are familiar with Vanilla Ice/Hammer. For starters, Vanilla Ice only had ONE album that sold and like 1-3 hit songs.

MC Hammer was only selling records from like 1988-1991. Barely three years. Then he dropped another album that went platinum in 1994.

^^^ they had successful careers, but clearly rappers who were consistently going platinum had better careers than Hammer and Vanilla Ice.

That's a valid comparison, you don't like it cause its true.

2chainz had bigger songs but Pusha had a Grammy nomination and a better album discography

When it comes to relevance and longevity Pusha has the better career

No he hasn't. Out of Pusha's entire career, he has ONE gold album (with Clipse) and ONE gold single. Any other artist would be a flop with those stats especially when you had the biggest producers in music helming the albums.

Pusha T has not had a better career by any stretch if the imagination compared to 2Chainz.

OT Genesis has more certifications than Pusha too. Has he had a better career?

We can strip commercial performance completely away from this argument…2Chainz at his peak had more core cultural relevance than Pusha has had at any point of his solo career, and perhaps at any point of his entire career barring Grindin … Pusha hasn’t ever had an authentic bottom-up run where he heated up on the streets and forced his way up through to the commercial realm like 2chainz did in his T.R.U. REALigion mixtape era…2chainz forced himself into “hottest nikka in the game” conversations, and not on some hipster pitchfork review critical darling bullshyt…his joints were actually resonating without piggybacking, to the thread’s point, on the clout of a Pharrell or a Kanye….does Pusha have anything that actually impacted culturally like Spend It or Riot? It’s basically the Jim Jones argument over again…and why he’s objectively overrated

Then on top of all that, Chainz still had the more successful commercial career

Read my post. I took more than just certifications into consideration. And still you're listing rappers with shorter than leperchaun runs. Breh, has certifications for three songs released between 2014-2016 and hasn't had anything since. Nelly has albums that have sold more than any Jay album, but Jay has more albums that have gone platinum from 1996-2017. Jay has had the better career.

I think it's interesting how dude gets disrespected by the industry so effortlessly... says a lot about him if cats got no problem saying these things publicly.
