Doing my Googles on this Ricky Jivens guy.

yeah the Ricky Jivens case was some crazy shyt ...that the Savannah Morning news in my opinion sensationalized simply cause of the murders to take the attention off the SAVANNAH POLICE whom were on Ricky's payroll as well....alot of "established citizens" were benifiting from Ricky like the Pastor i ain't gonna name who was recieving thousands of dollars in upgrades to his church courtesy of Ricky



but real talk ....back thier in the 90s.......thier was SOOOO MUCH DOPE AND MONEY in the streets....RICKY couldn't even be considerd the TOP GUY in savannah

cause everybody was going to the "Bottom" (MIAMI) to get that work sent up I 95

when i first start visting here it was all about BIG BYRON a low key cat whom made alot of bread in the game but he was in the "soft game" (powder) while Ricky was in the hard game (crack)..so the police even admitted they placed thier focus moreso on Ricky for that matter

which made sense considering Byron was doing his thing for awhile...

in fact so many cats were doing there thing on a big level in savannah at that time...along with Byron..you had Fila..Sandpaper.......AL ....Savannah Red...Big Terry (RIP)....Zach...the Scott Boys....Motown....the transexual kingpin Candy.....Ty and last but not least Big Dave who had a network stretching from savannah to atlanta to new york where he was making moves in Harlem with Fritz and his people up the road in Charleston...

Jeezy even namedropped him in a song..... "back in the days..when Dave and dem was getting it"



keep in mind Savannah is the area where Jeezy served time at ...the correctional facility located near the edge of the city at Port Wentworth

although the last few shootings on savannah state was ATL victims ...its sad

like the home invasion of the ATL cat on the southside who got set up by the SAV girl

the SAV girls are KNOWN FOR SETTING people up

byatch had my car stolen in 99

when i was there during the late 90s and early 2000s there was a serious conflict you could tell between ATL and SAV especially on campus

back then SSU had horrible security you could literely walk on campus from the hood cause they had no fence or gate and the campus security was incompentent and hood as fukk

so alot of Savannah natives was basically coming on campus to ROB THE ATL cats ...cause they were easy to target

especially at the clubs like the sports lounge TIGERS DEN across the street...

you would see the savannah cats in the club all discreet and quiet wearing nothing but all black air force ones and a black or white tee and a SAV hat smelling like a pack of black n milds

while the ATL CATS was in there rocking all types of colorful shyt sometimes wearing jewelry and doing all types of DANCE MOVES talkign about ATL HOE!!..ATL HOE!!

next thing you know some CPORT cat got the drop on them and done lined them up outside the club

i seen it happen alot

then also in the state prisons the savannah cats were known for running the prisons and punking out the ATL dudes.......lots of killers from SAV with nothing to lose

Damn, that shyt sounds almost similar to when DC and Bmore nikkas used to beef with each other back in the day.

And I think I remember seeing some hood video on YouTube of SAV nikkas as recently as the mid 2010s still not really fukking with ATL like that. I think ATL nikkas be calling SAV folks “geechie ass nikkas” or sumn like that.

And LOL, with my generation and the next, if you rocking a pair of black Air Forces, that means you finna get the drop on a nikka after setting them up SAV nikkas sound like they be on some grimey country shyt heavy, which is ironic because some GA ppl be saying ATL nikkas are more country in comparison...I guess moreso in how they carry themselves.

i guess being a city in a remote area like this made them have a FUKK EVERYBODY Mentality

they don't dikkride for shyt

they cherish thier own identity ...one of the many reasons people say SAVANNAH never really blew music wise cause it wasnt riding the trendy waves of others

and i still see it in the youth of today...like Quando Rondo says in this vlog..."im from the POTE (port)....I AM NOT FROM ATLANTA...im from savannah!"

i think the thing with ATL is they country from a AESTHETIC standpoint...mostly....

thier accent is stronger and they love to promote that to the world..but they are also HOLLYWOOD like with more options enterainment wise and job wise

while the SAV CATS are REALLY COUNTRY with a strong mix of urban blight which creates the ANGST

especially to the "hollywood n1ggas" of atl (no disrespect)

when they shot that girl and then laid her up at the front door steps of the nearby church for display...

Big Boi came to west savannah to throw a cookout in his old westside savannah neighborhood

but decided he was going to CHARGE people to attend the cookout

that didn't sit well with the "natives"

you could feel the tension in the air...i know this cause i was there to cover the event for a magazine

all i could hear in the background was ..."somebody betta talk to buddy (big boi) and get his mind right....fukk wrong wit him"

next thing you know a few phone calls was made between a local cport boss and Big Boi's team

and just like that....COOKOUT IS FREE FOR ALL

dude the first and hopefully last time i ever felt the need to place a restraining order on a byatch was in Savannah back in the day

hoe literally tried to run me off the road and come to find out had tried to get my maintenence guy at the apartment complex to make a copy of my key so i guess she could get into my place and cause me harm

oh trust me that's the last thing you wanna do is date a SAVANNAH woman they have a bad reputation of being the most angry..spiteful mofos on the planet

id say they are WORST THAN THE HYPER MASCULINITY NEW YORK BYATCHES...

why?

well U CAN KINDA EXPECT IT WITH THE NEW YORK WOMEN based on thier enviornment they are raised in ..it's a concrete jungle ..its a tough environment

but in savannah it catches you off guard cause these women have that SOUTHERN CHARM at first..and they use the "jesus card"..

they will cook a great meal for ya....take care of you ..make u feel like a king..

then BAM!!!..out of no where like a bipolar rocket......they come with that fukk shyt

savannah was also known as the SUGAR TOWN....because it has a huge sugar refinary everybody worked at but also SUGAR TOWN was the code word for all the merchent marines and sailors who use to pass thru it's port to get that SUGAR (p*ssy) from all the ladies of the night..hookers and groupies in the city trying to hook up with out of towners

pretty much EVERYBODY FROM OUT OF TOWN was running thru these women and you can see the backlash in them which is passed from thier mother to the children

i remember the words of one of my exes whom i bumped into a few years back visiting savannah...

she called me to tell me how nice it was to see me and my child....but wondered if i still had issues with her..

her: is thier some type of problem?

me: uh no...why would u say that

her: cause you act like u didn't wanna speak

me: well...i mean it is kinda awkard seeing you after we last been together u know...

her: look n1gga..i ain't gotta kiss ya azz to be nice..i was just hello..... ...u know what bye then... (hangs up the phone abruptly)


that's just one of many instances in which i realized i can't deal with these harlots of hate
