Ratchet had a long lay off though that’s the main difference halo been around since the og xbox. Gears forza been around since 360? They should just let them rest for a minute. Especially halo
Ratchet has not had a long lay off breh

People don’t really burn out on games, more like the games become boring and uninteresting. Gears of war is a good example. 1&2 were very good but they’ve become very boring as the series has gone on.
Ratchet is a very fun series and this one is the bear yet in my opinion.
Stop

Ratchet is literally the same game 15 times over

Oh I see it's ok to have a ratchet 15 when you have a gow5:ohhh:

:mjlol:

The two things literally have nothing to do with each other. Other 1st and 3rd party games are available on both systems.

Yeah, they have a lot to do with each other. If the only thing i have to look forward to is say, Ratchet and Uncharted and gran turismo, yeah I’m gonna start to get sick of those games. You throw in Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, Spider-man, God of War, Detroit, Demons, Bloodborne, TLOU, Horizon, Persona...etc

And by the next time a R&C comes out it’ll feel fresh again.

You don’t really have that option when generation after generation the 3 big exclusives stay exactly the same. I dont think theres ever a day when PlayStation owners are relying solely on ratchet for 1st party output

This is untrue.

The last one came out 5 years ago and it was like a reboot of the 1st game.

Prior to that, there were many spinoff games that didn't even play like the regular ones.

This idea that every Ratchet game is the same and that they came out so frequently is just not true. The last actual Ratchet game was A crack in time which came out in 2009 so no you're incorrect.

The actual Ratchet games are:
2002: Ratchet and Clank (PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3)
2003: Ratchet and Clank 2 aka. Going Commando (PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3)
2004: Ratchet and Clank 3 aka. Up Your Arsenal (PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3)
2007: Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction (PlayStation 3)
2008: Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty (PlayStation 3)
2009: Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time (PlayStation 3)
2013: Ratchet and Clank: Nexus (PlayStation 3)
2021:Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart

Heck Into the Nexus is debatable as its like DLC length and again 2016 Ratchet was like a reimagining/reboot.

Bruh, the series is milked to death, the remasters, spins off (most of them) all play the exact same.

I don't care about the "mainline" game titles. Its a hyperbole clearly, but since you want to split hairs.

This a video of basically what you posted.

Now please point out the glaring differences in gameplay in these MAINLINE games

This is like saying all the COD games play the same. Or all the Gears games play the same. Of course they'll "play the same", wtf? You expect Ratchet to become an open-world WRPG? The differences between each Ratchet game isn't going to boil down to completely new gameplay features.

They're all platformers with shooting elements.

Each game will just have different worlds, new weapons, some new gimmicks here and there and that's that.

Is every Pokemon game the same?
Is every Assassin's Creed the same?
Are all Sonic games the same?
Are all Mario games the same? Smash Bros?

All you do is collect stars in Mario games and each game throws you a new gimmick.
All you do in Smash Bros is knock the player off the stage to win, same game bro :troll:

Are all Halo games the same?

The same game bro :troll:

I mean you guys busted nuts to Forza Horizon 5 and that shyt looks damn near the same to me as the one I have now but y'all don't want to have that conversation. :sas2:

I know you'll just default back to the "b-bu-but there' 15 of them!" line.

You clearly don't like the games so of course it'll all be "the same" to you just like someone who doesn't like COD will find all the games to be the same meanwhile fans of the series will laugh at you for suggesting each one is the same.

Stan titan runs himself into a wall everytime he brings that nitwit argument up. All you gotta do is post damn near every game franchise aside from GoW and BoTW to prove him wrong

I already explained because those are the only 3 franchises you have and your new IP’s never hit

You clearly just don't pay attention.

If all one person bought was EXCLUSIVES and that's it, nothing else. What you are saying makes perfect sense, and there might be some people who do that. But most people buy more than just 1st party exclusives bruh.

Because despite what you guys say, each generation there's new IPs being made that ADD to the overall library so the argument doesn't work the way you think it does.

You can't say Sony drops the same IPs each generation with a straight face with nothing new.

We can go back to PS1 to now and I'm sure the list of Sony franchises is WAY longer than if you go back to the original Xbox and compare it to today.

When PS4 was coming out, I didn't expect Horizon, Ghosts of Tsushima, Bloodborne, Dreams, Detroit, TLG, Spider-Man and a few other exclusives that dropped.

If it was just like Xbox, all we'd have for PS4 is Uncharted 4, God of War, Killzone and Infamous yet we got that PLUS more.

Also it doesn't help that Gears 4 and 5 are damn near identical since they launched the same generation yet God of War 3, Uncharted 3, TLOU 1, and Ratchet all had exclusive next-gen sequels which helped the fidelity jump be massive. You post a gif of any of those games vs the next gen sequel and you'd have to be on CRACK to say it looks the same.

How can you not get it? :mindblown:
