PS4 launched at $400 in late 2013, and was goong for $150 BF 2017
The other PS gens dropped to bout half launch price by 4 years or so in or close enough to it
Had PS5 followed that same trend it would be retailing for $350 max and going for $200($250 max) on BF and other random sales thruout the year. Had that happened PS5 would prolly have doubled the sales it currently has or close to it
Pretty sure PS5 the only console in history that got 80 million people to pay $500+ for it and there’s prolly at least a few million who copped for hundreds more than retail during the shortage years
