I get it though.

A series win at least makes the team feel better and no shame in losing to Boston. Losing in the first round means the vultures will be circling them.

Yea he talking 90s pre superteam era stuff.

In a league where 3 super stars are on the same squad, they absolutely can turn it on for the playoffs. All they have to do is keep the score close. Then it's just iso and the superteam who will have 2-3 guys who can create their own shots and make big buckets 9 times out of 10 are going to beat the great regular season "teams" that have 1 superstar and a supporting cast.

Only problem with your comment is depending on how you ask, Beal isn’t a superstar.

Everyone else got better and they didn't. It also doesn't help that they don't seem to have another gear to play above average defense.
