Cavs should play love at the 5 and bron at the 4 come playoff time. This team is built for slow paced ball the way they played in the finals once kyrie went down.

Hayward's a good player but far from a go to scorer. I need to see somebody average more than 20 a game with much better efficiency before I can call them a go to player. Hell just look at their record in close games alone tells you that they have trouble finishing games out. Part of that is definitely on having a point guard but if Hayward was a top go to player then that wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal.

Hayward's PER is 19. Shoots well from outside, gets to the line well. He could stand to make more shots inside but 44% isn't really bad for a jump shooter.

On contending teams? Keep in mind I said I think Utah can be quasi-contenders and I'm simply saying that if Hayward is their best scorer that I can't see them actually winning a title. Not saying Hayward is bad by any means.

I honestly think Cleveland would be much better if Lebron was willing to take a step back on offense and was willing to focus more on defense. Take advantage of Irving and Love's biggest strengths while bolstering Cleveland's defense some.

They're a ways away from that. Let's get to the playoffs first. Maybe it's Hood. Maybe they sign someone. I get what you're saying but that's not something that should consume them yet.

If I WAS a go-to scorer I'd really consider signing with Utah though.

The league has adjusted to LeBron's game and that iso nonsense is finito. Once kyrie gets in shape and gets his rhythm back bron needs to hand the reign to him and a lesser degree love. That will allow him to abuse most 4's and play his natural game which is based on facilitating.

Why are you people so stupid? Even if he was an average man on man and post defender(which he's not), him being inept guarding the pick n roll would still make him a subpar defender. How can you be a "lost cause" defending the most popular offensive play/set in the NBA and not be a subpar defender. Dude is a straight liability for the cavs defending the pick n roll.
