Cavs should play love at the 5 and bron at the 4 come playoff time. This team is built for slow paced ball the way they played in the finals once kyrie went down.

He was playing solid defense last season (*ahem @Gravity*), his play is just temperamental like LeBron's is. :manny:
You're such an insufferable bytch. You run to show me one tweet from some random fan about Love over a 6-7 game stretch this year when you ignored articles written that proved what I said about the man's play last year. You're pathetic.

NONE of those articles you provided detailed his defensive impact (or lack thereof, in your argument), and all of them basically were generally speaking about how Blatt was using him late in-games. Not going over what he could and couldn't do. I gave you stats of his post defense matchups and percentages - which you completely ignored, and I also told you that if you actually WATCHED the Cavs last season you'd see that he was solid on that end - upon the cease of his back spasms/trade for Shump, Mozgov and JR. You have not even given ONE example, stating anything in regards to what he didn't do well on the defensive end last season. You just regurgitated the same rhetoric that most do when it concerns him. Failing to acknowledge that not only is a certain portion his game based on untruths, but also failing to acknowledge that 'bad' defensive players aren't always bad.

Again, if you didn't mistakenly assume that Tristan ALWAYS replaces Love (or said Tristan was the better defender) - this wouldn't even need to be an argument. The fact that you not only assumed that the Cavs defense was better all season with Love on the bench, but that Thompson was his direct replacement ("obviously" as you stated - without even knowing that Love played 43% of his minutes with TT last season), tells me you didn't even watch enough games to make an accurate assessment on how Love played on that end.

I wonder what the Nuggets are going to do with Jokic/Nurkic/Lauvergne?

Right now Jokic is getting the big man minutes, but each has shown flashes (Nurkic last year)

Save the 1000 word essays chump because I'm not reading that shyt. You argue like a bytch. You mention me to show me a random tweet from some random fan about Love's last 6-7 games as if that supports what you've said about Love's play last year. It doesn't. You haven't added anything new that's relevant to the discussion dumbfukk. Love was so bad on defense last year that he was benched for it. He wasn't solid by any competent evaluation.

His post and man on man defense were league average or better.

He's just a lost cause in pick and roll situations where he's forced to defend a guard/wing.

Russell Westbrook out here averaging a career high 10 assists a game but leave it to the Coli to tell me that OKC has no ball movement under Donovan, and their offense is the same from previous years... :duck:

Breaking down why he sucks on defense doesn't change the fact that he sucks. I don't know why thatnotherclown dapper your post as if it refutes anything that I've said. Kevin Love is a subpar defender regardless of how you break it down it explain it.

Assists don't necessarily mean there's ball movement in a offense. In fact, when a player is averaging so many assists, it usually means he's dominating the ball more than likely.

There's nothing to refute, because you haven't once stated anything in regards to his defense last season. All you've said is that he "sucks". You can't break down his defensive contributions last season because you didn't watch him play. I've already gone into detail of how he performed on that end last season, yet did you contest what I said by giving your own explanation of how he performed? No. Your entire argument lies with the statement of you saying that the Cavs defense was better all season long with him on the bench - with a side note of it "obviously" being with Thompson as his replacement - which you were WRONG on both accounts:

i) the Cavs defense was statistically better with Love ON court, in the lineups he was a part of
ii) Thompson wasn't always his replacement - 43% of Love's minutes last season were with TT in the lineup

You're really going to use an argument of a player averaging double digit assists as reasoning for a TEAM's ball movement? :snoop:

Hayward is a go to guy breh.

Honestly, they just need a point guard that can setup their bigs and provide 3 point shooting and I think they'll be a true contender. Favors>ZBo and defensively Gobert is better than Marc(although Marc is obviously the better player). Hayward>>>Gay.
Hayward's a good player but far from a go to scorer. I need to see somebody average more than 20 a game with much better efficiency before I can call them a go to player. Hell just look at their record in close games alone tells you that they have trouble finishing games out. Part of that is definitely on having a point guard but if Hayward was a top go to player then that wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal.
