that team is a point guard away(exum) from being a contender in a few years. they got one of the best, if not best, front courts in the league that consist of two elite interior defenders.
I don't see them being a true contender until they get a go-to guy on offense. Their ceiling to me is Memphis from a few years back where they'll be a thread to win it all but the lack of a true star on offense will eventually do them in.

Hayward is a go to guy breh.

Honestly, they just need a point guard that can setup their bigs and provide 3 point shooting and I think they'll be a true contender. Favors>ZBo and defensively Gobert is better than Marc(although Marc is obviously the better player). Hayward>>>Gay.

A better PG would make them a playoff team but not even a top seeded one. Gordon is legit though.

Gordon/Favors/Gorbert are all good to great players with Hood becoming a great offensive player and they have a reliable bench with Burke/Burkes/Lyles. They got a really young team with a lot of good pieces and most of these pieces are still all getting better.

Like what we saw with Philly at the beginning of the year, it is INCREDIBLY difficult to win without a NBA level point guard and that's pretty much what they've been dealing with all season by having to start Neto(since Burke is awful defensively and can't be started for that reason).

Uncle Jeff 104 pts on 39-62 (62.9%) shooting over the last 4 :wow:

He's going to pull the classic Uncle Jeff soon & go 0-9 since he's using up all his big games right now.

Grizzlies got a chance to get the 4th seed if the Clippers ever hit a rough week because their schedule this month has maybe 2 tough games.

their schedule has been soft and theyve been playing lots of home games lately....

they have been making 3s in this stretch, but that wont continue. grizz still pretenders per the usual

What the hell is going on with the Magic? They have been cheeks for the past month. Is it Skiles or do they have too many guys who need the ball in their hands to be successful? They have to make a trade or something, right?
