heavy - it's not an aerobic workout. I take a good break between the one rep sets so no lactic acid is hanging around. I do this is the squat rack and am comfortable with putting the barbell down on the spotter bars if I can't make the attempt.

155 lbs .x 10 reps
225 lbs. x 5 reps

Yea @brother walt one way or another u got a good year or two before u will get somewhere satisfactory.Honestly you aren't going to be happy either way with your mindset:
Building muscle with minimal fat gain is a extremely slow process. As frustrated as you have been losing this is going to be worse.
How high are you going to build towards? You are what 5'8 230ish? Are you going to 250? 260? Guess what the wight is sill got to come off so you are going to be back to losing fat.
Think about it like this. I'm an inch taller than you and around 188. I'm on the edge of being in "decent shape". Everybody carries weight differently but the fact remains Building muscle from this point with going to require you to lose a lot of fat that's going to come with the gains.
I'm rooting for you but you gotta make a decision and either way it's not going to be easy and it's going to be a long process.
Seriously what the issue? Thanks brehs it means a lot ima just stay at it
Seriously what the issue?
Weight should be moving pretty well at this point.
