I'm really trying to mix up my workouts so that I don't do the exact same excercises on both lower/upper workouts. (Except for walking lunges and step ups, I can't really find a variation that I like).

But I'm not sure whether to do trap bar or Sumo deadlifts as the other deadlift to change it up from conventional. What do you guys think?

-I worked out in the garage Sunday and I'm still sore from taking CTs advice (reps til failure)

I need to bring my carbs way up. Idk why I keep letting them drop. Then it doesn't occur to me til I can't make it through a normal ass workout.
Even I've learned better. High Volume or "Low" Carb, can't really high both consistently (personal opinion).

:dahell: those statements conflict unless I'm reading them wrong. If u do high volume workouts u should keep carbs higher

I have heard BBers use high volume + low carb to get right for a show. They deplete glycogen stores and water, which creates a glycogen hypersensitivity. Then like the day before the show they carb up. Get a huge dry pump. IDK about all that though... I need my water :lupe:
Correct. I mean for prolonged training especially heavy movements.

I got a question :patrice:

Lil brother in law is turning 20 this year, his side of the fam just moved into our city. Hes staying w/me and wifey for a while so we can get him set up and put him on to game. Anyway, I went to the gym with him and his workout game is :scusthov: Diet game is also :scust: Hes in half decent shape though. Ton of potential. I want to give him a workout and diet plan, but I dont wanna be pushy. Also trying to think of a real super basic program for him to do. Im thinking bench, chin ups, lateral raises, squats, stiff leg deads. If he can hit that 3x/wk and get a decent amount of protein in :blessed: Just hate to see a dude w/so much potential toss it, and he seems interested enough to want to do more.
