Why even weight lift? Just do cardio. Swim, jog, ride a bicycle.Early 30's... Man real talk I just don't see any reason to go higher than that.
I don't ego lift. Form is important. But I'll attempt heavy weights with either a spotter or if I am in a squat rack, I'll just lower the bar to the spot bars. I don't have an issue with a failed attempt.word, I learned quickly about ego lifting. Especially racking up weight with squats. For someone with my size and build anything over 3 plates is asking for trouble and an injury down the line. I've literally felt injuries coming right around the corner even when executing lifts with great form, but had enough sense to stop.
Been blessed to be injury free all my life....

I can't complete the movement using the Oly grip so I know what you mean.
465 front?Cross hand doesn't do it for me. So yes I use the Hook grip. I saw a kid at the local high school doing 465 squats the other day for a record. I was thinking to myself "fukk that", but he is young in the 11th grade.
