You can rotate the intensity of each per workout. Day 1 is a more intense for Deads and Day 2 more intense for Squats.


Lot of people do it. I did it for a while. U get used to it. Plus u can vary it. Do heavy squats and some light deadlift variation one day then switch it the next time.

That makes sense, I guess it's. upper and lower. Thanks for the advice.

I been working out/bulking for near 6 months and havent done cardio in probably a year and a half since rehab for my acl reconstructed knee. Im lazy as fukk, high volume seems to burn enough. Do y'all do cardio when you bulk? :lupe:

Creatine and some BSN protein shakes...did very well today. Brought my chalk ball and knocked out pullups with 45lbs. easy...nikkas were in awe. No kipping and momentum shyt either. :mjpls: Feel good...no more tricep pain and tennis elbow. Gonna do some legs tomorrow...haven't squatted in 8 months. I'll be happy if I can do 225lbs. :pachaha:You go back into the gym and see the chubby and boney nikkas and that competitive itch comes right back. :steviej:

Couple of things...been cutting since early winter, back on the ec stack...upped my pottasium, havent had any problems

switched out my deads apart from leg day, increased strength and reps drastically...jumped ahead of my squat slightly

Added dips @semtex (or was it @The ADD :lupe: ) to my chest day this past sunday and my tris and pecs still hurt :wow: ...I still think its the whole workout but I think that this will be a new part of my regimen. I'm going to give myself another month before I start PHAT just to see where I am cutting wise come April.

Oddly enough, jazz and Dilla-esque beats get me more focused lifting than the prototypical hype song.

You could just ask him if he wants a cell phone video taken to see how low he goes.
On another forum, this dude was all proud that he could squat 400+ pounds, but his leg press was in the 300+ lbs. :wtf: I told him that you can usually do more in the leg press because your body is involving less of the lower back. I told him he's probably not going down low enough in the squat, I didn't call him a liar or a p*ssy because he was a relatively cool dude. He didn't think so. So I suggested that he get a cell phone video of himself doing a squat with heavy weight. He thought that was a good idea. He never replied about that video or his squat capabilities after that.

I took a video of myself once just to make sure how low I'm going. Not ATG but about parallel.
Yeah those numbers don't make sense unless he wasn't doing a full ROM on squats :heh:

Lady that works with my wife told me her husband lost 100 lbs when he started this job I'm about to start:mjlol:

I have no fukking clue how much I'm going to need to eat to keep up my energy and prevent myself from losing more than a pound per week....I'm starting at 2700 calories but I really think I might end up in the mid-3000's after some experimenting. Bulking is gonna be impossible if it ever comes to that. I have about 8 lbs I can shed (I will be shredded as fukk again) but at that point I can't lose anymore without sacrificing the small amount of muscle mass that keeps me shapely:lupe:

Now that I think about it, I think he said his leg press was in the 500s, so it made no sense that his squat was close to his leg press. You can usually do double or more in leg press than you can do squats.

So I'm at the gym doing cardio on the treadmill.
There's these PAWGs doing their workouts and you can see them from the treadmills since they put stuff right below the TVs. Anyway, you ever see them adjust their yoga/stretch pants? They pull up their t-shirt a bit... :shaq: ...then, the pull up their pants... then put their shirt down partially. It's like are they trying to get looks? Secondly, why is there even the need to adjust stretch pants up, they don't sag down like basketball shorts or jeans. I really think they are trying to break all forms of Sharia law and (I'm not even Muslim) and get me to lust for their buns. :snoop:
