was good coli gymnist. i been doing some research on bodyweight training but i'm confused as fukk and would like some help on setting up a routine. i'll be in the beginning stage and i want to start monday, but it's been difficult to get some info specific to my situation.

i got a barbell with 4- 10lb weights and 2- 5lb weights./ bench

and i got 2 of 10lb,15lb,20lb dumbells.


i want to follow something similar to the following, but i'm having a hard time figuring out what would be the right amount of weights to use on the barbell with my beginner self. should i go 30lbs on the barbell? 10lbs on each side and 5lbs on each side? and how can i incorporate dumbbells into my routine? what exercises would allow me to get the best use of my equipment?

am i over thinking it? my thing is i just want to do it right so i dont injure myself and get the best results.

Week 1

  1. Monday: Workout A
  2. Tuesday: off
  3. Wednesday: Workout B
  4. Thursday: off
  5. Friday: Workout A
  6. Saturday: off
  7. Sunday: off
Week 2

  1. Monday: Workout B
  2. Tuesday: off
  3. Wednesday: Workout A
  4. Thursday: off
  5. Friday: Workout B
  6. Saturday: off
  7. Sunday: off


Workout A

  1. Squats
    3 sets of 8-10 reps.
    2 minutes rest between sets.
  2. Bench Press
    3 sets of 8-10 reps.
    2 minutes rest between sets.
  3. Rows
    3 sets of 8-10 reps.
    2 minutes rest between sets.
Workout B

  1. Deadlifts
    3 sets of 8-10 reps.
    2 minutes rest between sets.
  2. Pull-Ups (or Lat Pull-Downs)
    3 sets of 8-10 reps.
    2 minutes rest between sets.
  3. Overhead Shoulder Press
    3 sets of 8-10 reps.
    2 minutes rest between sets.

Any of ya'll got remedies for delayed onset muscle soreness?

I can barely stand, went ham on legs on Friday and the pain only kicked in yesterday morning. Calves feeling terrible I can barely stand :damn:.

I need help brehs, tomorrow is work :sadbron:.
