brehs im following the Jay Cutler 8 week mass workout plan off bodybuilding.com

4 meals, 2 shakes, PWO shake

and im on day 21, added 7 pounds. Started off at 195 now 202. Minimal cardio, this shyt go hard.

Excited to see this to the end. Goal is to bulk up and then cut down after. Can't complain :wow:

Somehow deadlifts snuck out of my routine due to new exercises having my attention. Did some for the first time since probably the fall :bryan:
3 sets of 8 with 405. Trying to join the 600 club in 2015 :win:

I was straight worried watching someone back squat this morning. During this guy's movement towards ATG he would hitch and bend forward at the waist. Meanwhile his friend is just watching. I've never wanted to say something so badly. Looked wild dangerous.

Was able to workout this morning before school. Went to bed at like 9:10 - 9:15 and left to go to the gym at 5:45. Sleep was kind of a hassle, it took me a little while to fall asleep and I did wake up a few times during the night. Still it worked for today, tho it was only cardio + abs. It will be tougher if I workout this early for my full body workout days.

I see a lot of folks get low but barely bend their knees. Ol good morning ass nikkas :wtb: :comeon:

Jogged 3.5 miles and worked on biceps yesterday.
I find that since I can't do heavy upper body exercises anymore, I need to up my cardio mileage.

Started StrongLifts 5x5 over the weekend. Completed the 3rd workout today. Currently at 185 on squats, 115 on bench, 195 on deadlift.

I don't know what the deal is with squats, I had decent form before, I could feel the burn in my hamstrings and sometimes glutes, but ever since I started back up, my lower back has been sore as hell in between sets. I couldn't even complete the 3rd set today and had to rest up bcos my back was so sore. shyts confusing bcos it feels fine after the workout and I can feel my back getting stronger but it's making me second guess my form.

My bench form is also lacking, I find that I sorta sway the bar to my right side seeing that's its my dominant side, however I got trigger points on that shoulder, so I can't afford to do that:beli:. I'm questioning throwing bench to the bushes, and replacing it with dips:patrice:

I also found out I'm developing trigger points on my left shoulder. So in conjunction with golfers elbow on my left and tennis elbow on my right, I feel like my body doesn't want to give me a break, Im starting to question whether I'm built for this gym life :to:

I tried that early morning shyt, honest I did

Just couldnt do it. My brain doesnt wake up until like 10 AM. Most I can do and used to do is a little cardio. I'd ride my bike about 5 miles to work. I dont like to shower in the morning... just get up and go. Working out in the morning threw my whole shyt off

Thank God my job lets me work out on my lunch breaks :blessed: :mjcry:


Back to lifting at night also. I'm just stronger then. :manny:

There was an article posted awhile ago on here or :hamster: that supported afternoon/night lifting with studies. shyt having to do with circadian cycles and whatnot. Can't ignore it. I feel like a savage at in the PM :yeshrug: and my flexibility is waaaaay better by then.

Still run in the morning, though.
