My sleep pattern is on some :merchant:

I got to bed around 11pm. Wake up at 2 and feel like I've slept 10 hours. I lay back down until 4:30AM and then I'm up for good. I don't feel tired during the day or lacking in energy. I get a little more on the weekends, usually up by 6:30AM

Back into one arm db rows I had fallen off for a sec. Did total of 50 reps per side yesterday with 176lbs. Back and leg volume is the priority during this fall/winter because that's where the most room for gains is.

Powerlifters and strongmen knock on bodybuilding for having non-functional muscle.
Bodybuilders knock on powerlifters for being fat or not looking like they lift, strongmen knock on them for non-functional strength.
Powerlifters and BBers knock strongmen for being obese.
All the above make fun of crossfit for being...crossfit.

Does anyone knock on oly lifting? Are they the true master race?

That's nothing you should cacs trying keep up with me doing squats.....

I'll start off with just the bar, to get a sense of motion but quickly work my way up to the big leagues.....

I've hurt someone egos and seen idiots straight out embarrass themselves, especially in front of their girl :mjlol:

I remember about a month back this cat comes to the rack next to mine, tries to throw on some weight like he's doing big things. I gradually increase from 135 to 225 with ease. This cat then tries to the same but only goes parallel. I knew shyt was about to get real. So I increase from 225 to 315.and knock that out with ease again. This cat, tries to load his bar to 275, and this time can do a quarter squat, except this dude gets stuck trying balance the weight, I immediately did a :mjlol: as I was coming back from the water fountain then did a :sas2:And to see if the guy needed help, needless to say, he somehow managed to channel his inner fight or flight stress call, through the weight back up. Needless to say he left the squat rack immediately
Back in the day, when I thought I was pretty strong for my size, this dude who was stronger schooled me.
I started with 135s, went up to 225s, then I got up to 295s. I felt pretty good, but I was close to max.... he went onto 315s, 405s, 495s...ended up peaking out at 510.... :snoop: I felt like a worm. I'm pretty sure he was on roids, but still. I got schoolio'ed.

Olympic lifting is an old sport and has a sanctioning body that's been around for decades, so it's pretty hard to make fun of competitors. You can't say jack because all they have to ask is "Did you compete in the Olympics? Did you win a medal?"

hamstring DOMS is by far and away the worst of all body parts for me, i gotta try and sprint this sh!t away this afternoon

People dont knock oly lifting, they just dont care about it.

Master race are bodybuilders who powerlift on the side, or non fat powerlifters. Dan Green :banderas: Alberto Nunez :wow:

So I'm at the gym the other day and I'm walking to this open room where I can stretch. It's their cardio fitness room. There are two of the 10 TVs playing they have their own network station with music videos. They are playing a hip-hop song. As a take a turn around one of the lifting machines, one of the employees had just completed a dance spin move, which was timed with the music that was playing. It was kind of funny because the dude couldn't pretend that he just didn't to a spin move. :mj:

How much are you supposed to feel the engagement in your core during back squats?
