After 25 mins I stopped playing and did another leg workout . Came to the realization that I’m not gonna get fat no matter what I do if I start bulking

Squatted again but this time I remembered to do heavy walkouts of 10-25% heavier weight than my 1rep max to get over the mental block

So you just walk it out and back in a few times without doing a squat just to feel comfortable? :ohhh:

Yep that’s the jist of it. I walked out 405 and noticed my mid back was lagging behind the rest of my back in keeping the weight sturdy. Also, my walk out at 365 was a bit too wide. Just little tidbits like that

How he supposed to keep upping the weight with weak hip abductor/adductor and lat issues

Did you have them specific issues?

Because I woulda gave him the same advice you gave him

Fine I'll up the weight..... and just be concious of my weaknesses. May the heavier weights provide me strength for corrections...

Can I lose weight with a combination of kettlebell and dumbbell exercises along with push-ups and sit-ups? I got two 16kg kettlebells at home and two 20lb dumbbells..I’m basically starting from the beginning as a 300 lb er. worked out hard last night…working out is getting fun to me because I can then feel my strength/endurance increasing. Been working for about a week

It's gonna be more about diet and cardio for you.

Can you lose weight lifting weights, yes, but unless you're doing heavy barbell lifts or metcons a la CrossFit, it's prolly not gonna be as dramatic as you think. You basically need to turn the KBs and DBs into implements for a weighted full-body x cardio hybrid.

Make sure to eat fewer calories (start at 500) than you burn each day, and start walking (least 30 minutes a day).

Yes, but if you still eat the same amount of calories as a baby elephant it’s not gonna make much of a difference

Didn’t even kno I cud track my dumbbell/kettlebell exercises calories burned on my Apple Watch using the functional strength training option…I was just looking this up I’m bout to test this out tonight…seeing what I’m burning is gonna help me out tremendously if it actually works

Take any fitness tracker/watch numbers with a grain of salt. :whoa:
