Some people hate walking outside and don’t have enough money or space for one at home.

Treadmill prolly pay itself off in less than a year of gym memberships, unless they're going to Pizza Planet Fitness. :usure:


Edit: A nice one for 16 hundo would take about 3 years to get paid off at my rate. :bryan:

Yea…not sure I’ll be able to squat today. Back ain’t 100% there. Had to switch from BO Row to Cable Row to preserve my back (amazing call by the way).

May do hack squat today and Friday as a replacement. Hopefully by next Tuesday I’ll be good to go.

The real question is will I be able to player soccer on Saturday :francis:

May do hack squat today and Friday as a replacement. Hopefully by next Tuesday I’ll be good to go.

I’ve never seen anyone OHP their body weight irl at any commercial gym I’ve ever gone to. Did see someone hit 2 plates but it was a lot of leg drive and they had on a belt

I'm definitely using a belt when I flirt with bodyweight. Most folks don't even strict press like that so it's whatever to me. :manny:

There's not really a reason not to use a belt for any barbell lift, unless you're competing and it's prohibidado. :manny:

Even at my level you're already in the top 10 percentile for strength, so worrying about what nikkas weaker than yourself think about the merit of a lift is like worrying what the bum at the bottom of the freeway thinks of your whip as you drive by.

Nothing is better than that silence after a weak motherfukker gets shut down by you hitting a lift they could never dream of touching right after they tried to give you advice.

Just to get some perspective from my bench brehs.

I can incline dumbell bench the 100s for 10-11 reps

On flat bench I cant get past 265 x 2.

Is that incline in line with the flat or should I be able to flat bench more?

Edit- and right after I posted that I hit an easy triple, weight felt so light on the first rep I thought someone had taken plates off lol

Gonna be all upper body this week. I should at least be able to play soccer though…we’ll see

At least the pain is subsiding. Next week I should be 100. Even taking a walk this Monday had me walking like a 95-yr old man

Maybe should alternate weeks between back and front squat.

Definitely stretch the night before. That’s I used to do.

You almost have to prep like an athlete when you’re initially starting squats regularly.

But after a while your body gets used to it.

From the sounds of it, even though have been squatting and deadlifting in the past few months, you’re body still isn’t really used to it.
